Brittany found her passion for helping others while serving in the United States Air Force as a mental health technician, specifically working with those struggling with adjusting to deployment and addiction.
Brittany has experience working with children, teens, adults and families and specializes in: low self-esteem, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to family divorce or grief, difficulty making or keeping friends, peer or relationship struggles, and low mood/depression. She believes in providing a safe place for her clients to freely express themselves and encourages clients to be who they are. Brittany believes in creative therapy to allow clients to express themselves while creating tangible reminders of the coping skills they learn in therapy. She utilizes play therapy and art to help children identify and process emotions, explore their feelings, and learn positive coping skills to take with them outside of the therapy environment. Brittany uses a person-centered approach to make clients feel safe and comfortable while exploring their thoughts and emotions.
