Brooke Larson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who completed her Master of Social Work at Kennesaw State University with a focus in Children and Family Services in 2015. Brooke is passionate about helping children and families and increasing communication between family members. Brooke loves to create dynamic hands-on therapeutic interventions to help her clients gain coping skills as well as skills for managing and regulating emotions. She has extensive experience working with children and families who struggle with grief, loss, separation from a loved one, anxiety, depression, social skill struggles, low self-esteem, and difficulty adjusting to transitions.
Brooke is compassionate and kind. She uses a strengths-based approach to help her clients recognize their positive qualities so they can achieve success.
Before her work at Art It Out, Brooke worked with numerous families at her various roles at the Cherokee Family Violence Center (CFVC). She was the Family Support Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator and Children's Program Director.
Brooke is currently working towards being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is a member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW) and was the Secretary of the 2016 Domestic Violence Task Force for Cherokee County.
