Brooke Larson

Brooke Larson is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who completed her Master of Social Work at Kennesaw State University with a focus in Children and Family Services in 2015. She has extensive experience with children and families in outpatient settings. After graduation her work focused on children and families who have experienced domestic violence and other traumas at the Cherokee Family Violence Center (CFVC). At CFVC she began as the Family Support Coordinator, then became the Outreach Coordinator, and finally was the Children’s Program Director. During this time, she worked with children and families with grief, loss, separation from a loved one, anxiety, and difficulty adjusting to transitions.

Brooke is currently working towards being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is a member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW) and was the Secretary of the 2016 Domestic Violence Task Force for Cherokee County. Brooke loves to come up with therapeutic interventions to help her clients meet their therapeutic goals. Brooke is passionate about serving families and children who have experienced domestic violence and hopes for a community free of violence. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hanging out with her cute dog, and exploring new places.
