VIRTUAL
GROUPS
Before beginning a virtual group, you will be given a supply kit with art materials. Kit materials may include drawing supplies, canvases, paint, markers, fidgets, a journal, a Social Emotional Workbook, and more.
Virtual groups meet weekly via Zoom and allow for children &
teens to :

Process emotions

Explore and work through anxiety as it relates to COVID-19

Gain social and emotional skills

Learn strategies for managing anxiety & frustration

Improve mood
-
Gain foundational social skills
-
Gain support from peers
During each weekly group session, the therapist leads the group members in specific art prompts, encourages pro-social interaction between group members, and gives them an opportunity to present their finished product to the group.
We offer in-person as well as virtual counseling to work on skills, such as:

Individual sessions are typically weekly for 45-50 minutes.

COUNSELING
Our groups allow for children & teens to learn new social and emotional skills while interacting with peers. They receive in-the-moment coaching as they implement these skills.

To enhance safety, all of our in-person groups are:

Limited to a small group of children
-
Require each child to wear a mask

Require temperature checks before entering

Include individual art supply kits to limit sharing of supplies
