Leah is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Leah is a native of East Cobb, having attended Mount Bethel Elementary School, Dickerson Middle School, and Walton High School, as well as the University of Georgia. Leah spent two years teaching English in Japan, working mostly with middle school students. She also worked at Sylvan Learning Center, helping children master reading and math skills, as well as working with parents to find solutions to help their children succeed in school. Before pursuing her Master's in Counseling, Leah was a stay-at-home mom to her now teenaged son and daughter.

Leah has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. She believes in establishing a strong, therapeutic relationship that allows the client the freedom to be true to themselves. Leah draws from a person-centered approach to find the best individual fit for each client. She utilizes CBT and art when working with clients to develop coping skills as well as a deeper self-awareness. Leah is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and enjoys working with parents to cultivate successful strategies for their families. Her clinical interests include grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships. 

Leah is supervised by Teresa Woodruff, LPC, ATR-BC, CPCS.
